C Day
December 17th. School Project.
I was very lucky to print the cards in that kind of material, since first I printed them in photo paper. The photo paper made them bright and cheap looking, while this soft and texturized paper made them look expensive and got a nice tone of colour.

Joker & J
According to the little research I made, the Joker was later represented as a clown because people tended to confuse it with "The Fool" from tarot cards. The 'Ace' card represented the people who served the king, who later would gain power and remove the nobility (the card from the king). That's why it's higher than the King's card.
Also, they made the cards to be seen from both sides so people didn't know or guess which cards the other had when they turned around (because we usually do this when a picture is upside down).

Just writing a little bit to keep this updated.
I'm back to my country, and it's just warm days passing by. Soon it will be Christmas~

5 hearts
Actually, since I had to work with the 100 drawings, hearts is about people, clover about trees, spades about things, and diamonds are places, but I am in the point where I just put things with people, so this one doesn't make a lot of sense to me...
My head is killing me... hurts so much...

4 hearts
Haha, I thought first of putting them in the grass, with nice surroundings, but time for critic is coming near, so I just took this one at the classroom. One of my drawings was about bicycles and people riding them, I searched a little bit and came to a funny image of a bicycle with four people on it, that's why I thought in making this one with four plasticine figures.

guitar
(to write in sketchbook: looks as if he were evaporating)
So I am doing the poker card deck. I made some research and specially liked this card deck by wirestyle in deviantart since it's all drawings which sometimes have the number of elements that correspond to each card number.

I think I'll be doing a poker deck, since it gives me the opportunity of using many images and I like poker cards haha. Another althernative is doing a book, but I want to do something else... I am not really sure, since a poker deck is a lot...

Prints
Today we had printing class, so we spent all day drawing and making marks on paper with the ink below in a piece of glass. Very messy, and with not a lot of control, time or space, since sometimes there was a long queue of students waiting to get to the ink (few ink for so many of us!). But always fun ;).
I found interesting the way you could make the lines with a pen on top of the paper (underneath was the ink) and then a little bit more pressure with your hands to give more colour and delimitate this movement.

There is a light.. ??
I think this work is still a draft. I would like to take out the words from the title of the song, since it looks quite messy with them. This idea came to me after experimenting with stencils and continued writing. I had cereal boxes and cutter, so I began just cutting.
The feeling between photos is also influenced by the medium with which you take the photo. As for example, the first one is from scanning the work, and the second from a digital camera (10.1 mega pixels). Also, the angle in which the photo is taken.
